Welcome to Who Tek Di Riddim? ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data — email address, username, and hashed password when you register.
• Profile data — username and optional avatar URL.
• Usage data — votes you cast, comments you post, and pages you visit.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and cookies for authentication.

We do not collect payment card details, government IDs, or any special-category personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide the voting, leaderboard, and commenting features of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies & Authentication

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session. These cookies are set by Supabase Auth, our authentication provider, and are required for the service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data is stored on servers in the EU (or US, depending on your Supabase project region). See Supabase Privacy Policy.
• YouTube — embedded video players. YouTube may set its own cookies when you interact with an embedded video. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — hosting and edge network. See Vercel Privacy Policy.

6. Public Information

Your username, voting history, and comments are publicly visible. If you want this information to be private, do not post it. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your profile, votes, and comments.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data associated with it is deleted immediately and irreversibly. Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. total vote counts per riddim) may be retained.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (right to erasure).
• Object to or restrict how we process your data.
• Data portability.

9. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
